Sesame Place announces comprehensive bias review, training

LANGHORNE, Pa. — Sesame Place on Tuesday introduced adjustments to its range, fairness and inclusion applications after high-profile incidents not too long ago that allege characters had been deliberately ignoring Black kids on the Bucks County park.

One video that gained nationwide attention appeared to indicate the character, Rosita, snubbing two younger Black women.

One other household has filed a separate suit with related allegations.

Sesame Place says it’ll conduct a racial fairness evaluate of its present practices.

The park additionally says all workers shall be required to endure a bias coaching session by the top of September.

The assertion by Sesame Place says that nationally acknowledged specialists in civil rights will oversee the method.
