KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – The Kansas Metropolis Royals hosted a naturalization ceremony Friday for 500 new residents.
The pandemic had slowed down many of those ceremonies.
New Individuals from over 90 international locations have been welcomed at Kauffman Stadium Friday, together with Adama Anne, a local of Senegal, who has been in the US since 2015 and unable to see his dad and mom throughout that point.
“I’m about to cry,” Anne informed KCTV5 following the ceremony. “It provides me the chance to return to my nation and are available again right here and maintain working and caring for my household.”
Senior vp and chief authorized officer for the Kansas Metropolis Royals, Adam Sachs, mentioned the group was thrilled to be concerned.
“Our staff is all about neighborhood,” Sachs mentioned. “We need to be as welcoming as we are able to. These new residents, that is trigger for celebration.”
