WILLIAMSBURG, Brooklyn (WABC) — The New York Metropolis Division of Buildings is pouring chilly water on plans for an unapproved rooftop pool in Brooklyn.
They found a 480-square-foot pool constructed on a roof in Williamsburg with out permits or professionals concerned within the set up.
The pool was found Tuesday, and the DOB ordered it drained and eliminated that day.
At 30×16 ft extensive and 4 ft deep, the pool was holding practically 60 tons of water on the roof of the occupied constructing.
The DOB mentioned the constructing housed a day care heart on the third flooring.
Officers are reminding anybody who wish to have a pool to look into the correct permits required.
